Consider the Possibilties!

Vandalism and Theft

Throughout the winter 2009-2010 the Town of Hanley has had street signs stolen off the poles throughout the Town.  The RCMP have not been able to come up with any suspects or information on the thefts as of yet.  The Town will have to replace these signs, which will of course cost money.  This money comes from the taxpayers, so everyone will be paying for the thefts that are being done by an individual or small group of people.

At a recent council meeting, it was decided that the Town would offer a cash reward for any information that can be substantiated regarding these or any other thefts or vandalism that is occurring in the Town of Hanley.  Confidentiality will be ensured so that so the caller can remain anonymous.

If anyone has any information on these thefts (or any other crimes), or if you happen to notice the stolen signs hanging in someone's house while visiting, then give the Town a call at (306) 544-2223 or if you like, certainly give the Hanley Community Detachment RCMP a call at (306) 544-3400 or 310-RCMP (310-7267) or Saskatchewan Cime Stoppers at 1-800-222-8477 on online at www.saskcrimestoppers.com
