Consider the Possibilties!
  • The town and R.M. have a fully equipped fire department with two trucks and a rescue van. 
  • The department is manned by volunteer firefighters and first responders.
 
  • Water and sewer services have been in town since 1962 with upgrading done during 1982 through the piping in of a steady water supply from a well and Brightwater Reservoir. 
  • In 2000 a new water treatment plant was installed in insure a safe and abundant supply of water now and for future expansion.
 
  • The RCMP serves the community with a Detachment office employing two officiers. 
  • A Community Consultative Group has been organized to work hand in hand with the RCMP to help deal with any problems that may arise within the community.
 
  • The Hanley Economic Development Co-operative Ltd. is set up to assist community members interested in starting a small business within our community.
 
  • Garbage pickup is weekly with recycling of papers, plastics and tin cans available at drop-off bins in the Town.
