Dear Friends,
I am asking for your help.
David Suzuki is having a contest. He is asking Canadians to compose an environmental anthem.
My grandson, Lee Raito has just done this. In order to hear his song “One and the Same” that he has composed and recorded, please go to (click on the link):
One and The Same
Lee is the lead singer and is playing the guitar.
Now in order for him to win he needs votes. Voting will be on August 15th.Instructions for voting will be sent later.
In the mean time you may become a fan of his. At the bottom of the page is a link/button to sign up as a fan and use the heart button to favorite the song.
Then your name will appear on the fan list.
On Aug. 15th please help me out and vote for my grandson and make me a very proud grandma. I know I can count on you all.
Thanks so much for your support.

You no longer need to conserve water. Terry was able to fix that problem last night.
We still have a problem with the pressure and hopefully will resolve that today.
Thank you for your understanding and patience.

We are having water issues at the water treatment plant. We can get water out of the plant (so we DO NOT have a boil water advisory) but we can't get the water in to the cisterns and only have enough for one day. Terry can run it manually but that means he has to sleep and live at the plant.
So, please do not use the water unneccesarily and since we do not have the capacity to call everyone (it takes 5 hours by phone) please tell everyone you see to conserve water and the reason why. Hopefully it will be fixed today (we have a fellow coming this evening) but if he can't fix it, the part won't be here till Friday.
If you have any questions, please call or e-mail the Town Office and thank you so much for giving us your e-mail address for notifications of this type.
